We went to Northern Cal this past weekend for my side (the Clader's) family Christmas get-together. We went to a very nice cabin in Soda Springs. As you will see, with once again way too many pictures, we had lots of fun and got LOTS of snow. I don't know that I have ever seen snow come down like I saw this weekend. It was beautiful!! Carter has been asking to go to the North Pole for 2 years now, so his dream finally came true. Jason, on the other hand, loved the snow but was always a little worried that the Abominable Snowmonster from the Rudolph Christmas movie was out there in the snow somewhere - (but I guess that has something to do with us telling him that the Abominable Snowman doesn't live in his closet, he lives in the snow - Ooops!) Anyway, we had a great time with family, and although there are no pictures to prove it, with my great friends in Auburn who always make time to see me when we are on one of our whirlwind trips. I love you all. Thanks for the fun times.
Thank you Aunite Karleen for my snow suit. It was so nice and warm and it made me look like the Michilan Man (sp?)
Aaaawwww! This is right before they started pushing her into the snow which they thought was funny because she didn't want to move her feet. :)
Grammy and Grandpa got in to the sledding action....
...and it was hard work. :)
This is a picture of the 11 cousins in their new Chistams pj's. So fun to have them all together!! Lauren is especially happy - probably because her three oldest girl cousins were negotiating over who got to hold her for the picture.
Lauren was super proud of her cabin wear.
Remember I said we got LOTS of snow? Our car is under the snow pile behind Carter.
And this is the road we drove out on. It was crazy snowy, but oh so fun. Thanks Dad and Mom for a great late Christmas.

These pictures are so great! It was so awesome seeing you last week, I agree. I am hoping to have a coffee break with you next weekend when I am down for that wedding with my boys! Hope you're around...?
Ilka,
I keep seeing your comments on either my blog or others, and have felt extra lonesome for you guys!
I guess I don't really have anything monumental to say, but just wanted you to know that we're thinking of you! Hopefully, we'll see you at the end of March!
Love-Sara
