...And now we have a 1 Year Old....

So, our baby is 1. We had a fun time celebrating with her today. Here we go with a ton of pictures. Sorry, but it was hard to decide which ones to use. Enjoy and Merry Christmas!!!

I never thought we'd have a "Birthday Princess."

....some assembly required. :)

And now she is ready to do some shopping. Without having to show her how, she loaded up her groceries and off she went.

She was very pleased.

Click on this one for the larger version to get the full effect of the pucker. :)

Do I have something on my face?

Pretty Princess!!

This is one we missed from the last entry.

We have a 5-year-old!!

Our little Carter turned 5 yesterday. It is strange to think that we have a child that old. I guess it is true what all the little old ladies in the grocery store say. "Enjoy them while they are little because it goes fast!!" I always just smiled and nodded, but here we are with a 5 year old. Here are a few pictures from celebrating Carter and Lauren's B-days at Disneyland this week.

Jason needed a little instruction :)

I think I was saying WOOOOOOOO!

AARRGHHHHHH!!!

Pumpkin days............

Not much to say, but watch out - lots of pictures. We went to the pumpkin patch on the 30th and trick or treating last night. I didn't quite get a family theme together as you'll see by the pictures. Happy November!

Large pumpkin = photo op.

This is Jason right before he picked up and threw a pumpkin.

...and Carter.

This year they were both able to conquer the big pumpkin... although right after this picture Cater did a face plant while trying to climb down..... I guess he isn't big enough to do that yet.

Hay bales = another photo op.

Lauren's turn.

I actually got into one of the pictures!!

So here we are on Halloween. Like I said, I didn't quite get the family theme together. So we were Spidermen and Lauren the lamb.

Here is a little Spidy love.

Lauren of course thinks that everything is edible......

.....and funny.

Here's Daddy and his little lamb. No, he's not protective at all :)

And here is Daddy with the group. Notice the expression on Jason's face and the way he is holding on to Lauren's lamb bell. This was after the sugar had set in.

This was the sugar I was referring to.

And what's a party without a bounce house. Yes, the Spidermen were very pleased.

We survived!!

Although the news has made it sound like Santa Clarita has been burnt off the map, we are all still here and I think things are starting to calm down. Some minor lung irritation, and stinky air are all we can complain about. We've had many friends who have been evacuated, but most have already returned to their homes. It was strange for a few days in row for the sun to be red and for the sky to be so smokey. The winds carried all the smoke straight over us. The Stevenson Ranch fire seemed huge, and of course Carter was very worried so we got a million questions about how the fires spread and whether it was going to come to our house. The boys were pretty impressed by the fire planes and helicopters that we got to see amazingly up close a few times. Anyway, we're okay and following are some pictures of the kiddos finally getting to go outside to play. We have been a little cooped up :)

My crazy boys. The sky line behind them the day before was dark brown with smoke.

Its a rough life, don't you think?

I'm not sure, but I think it's time for Jason to move up to the big swing. :)

Can you tell if Lauren is proud of her new skill of pulling up on the coffee table. She also likes removing all the items off of it like papers, toys, and any beverage she can get her hands on.

...and I just thought this was cute. Have a great day!!
