Our Halloween day started off with the boys' soccer games.
Beautiful weather, good games - good fun.
Then we got down to the real business for the day.
We had the good.......
....verses the evil..... which have caused many a light saber fight over the past few weeks. I am happy to report that Captain America and Darth Vader have joined forces to fight together!!!
And then there is Lauren, who is just so happy that every part of her costume is PINK!
Group shot!
Then there was the trick-or-treating. Lauren was serious about it. She would have gone all night.
Since Jason could hardly see out of his mask during daylight hours, stairs in the dark were a little tricky. There were a few spills, but the candy must have been worth it. :)
Dad looking out for his girl. :)
At this house, the lady didn't come to the door fast enough for Jason, so he opened the door and yelled, "HELLO!"
Who's kids are those?
Good fun! This candy sure is yummy! I'm sure the kids won't notice that is all disappears as they sleep. :) Can't wait till next year!

It's official.... it's Fall.
Fall never seems to really be here until we make our first trip to the Pumpkin patch. Today we went to Lombardi Ranch. It was a momentous occasion for me as it was the first time I didn't push a stroller around the ranch. My little girl is very insistent that she "can do it myself." This was bittersweet, but we really had fun. The kids climbed all over everything, hiked through the corn maze, and finally all selected their pumpkins for the year. I LOVE going to the pumpkin patch, and LOVE getting pictures there. :) So here are a few from our day......
On top of the hay bail pyramid.
They liked this idea... then Lauren had second thoughts. Click on the picture to see the "joy" in her face. :)

Their chosen pumpkins.
Happy Fall!!!!!

Where does the time go?
Well, we had a first in our home today. Carter has been working in his first wiggly tooth for a few months it seems. Today, with great determination, he pushed on it hard enough to rip it loose. We jumped up and down, went and got his tooth holder (which he has had since his 1st b-day), and he tucked it away under his pillow dreaming of what will be in its place in the morning. I gave him big hugs - so happy for him. Off he ran to play... and then I cried..... and Kenny laughed at me and then gave me a hug. And here I am crying again. Man, these kids have made me a sap!! I guess I'm just realizing how fast it really does go, wanting to enjoy each moment, and realizing that my little boy is getting bigger. He is so much fun. :) Here are proud toothless pictures. One with just Carter, and then his proud brother wanted to join in the moment. Last, Carter at his 100th day party at school. Kindergarten is flying by!!
